What can you see in this picture? Do you see what I see?

This is a picture of the tile in our bathroom. Every time I'm in there cleaning I see a face of a lady in my tile.

Someday....

"There is a danger in the word someday when what it means is “not this day.”...The scriptures make the danger of delay clear. It is that we may discover that we have run out of time. The God who gives us each day as a treasure will require an accounting. We will weep, and He will weep, if we have intended to repent and to serve Him in tomorrows which never came or have dreamt of yesterdays where the opportunity to act was past. This day is a precious gift of God. The thought “Someday I will” can be a thief of the opportunities of time and the blessings of eternity."

We're coming home!

It has been a wonderful trip. We had a great, relaxing vacation and we are now on our way back to our normal life.

Dog Beach

Yesterday, after attending Sacrament Meeting in Ramona, California we decided to take a drive. The weather was wonderful. We drove about 45 minutes to the beach. Just west of Sea World they have a beach called Ocen Beach. We pulled into the parking lot and there was a sign that said "DOG BEACH" and it pointed toward the ocean. I wasn't sure if this was a beach actually for animals or for ugly people, so thinking I qualified we followed the sign toward the beach. Apparently they have a beach where people can bring their dogs to play. There were dogs of all varieties there, (including the human kind), and it was quite enjoyable to watch them play. We headed a litle bit further and found a beach for humans only and there we spent a relaxing afternoon enjoying the sand and the view of the ocean.

Happy Easter!

We would like to wish all our family and friends a very happy Easter. Through all the experiences we have had as a family throughout the year, there is one sure thing we have to depend on and that is the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He is what makes it possible for our family to be an Eternal Family. We are grateful for his example, his love and his sacrifice for us. May we always remember him and strive to live more like him.

Disneyland

On Thursday we visited Disneyland. Although the park was very crowded, we had a very good time. The weather was overcast and so it was fairly comfortable. We enoyed most of our favorite rides and ended the evening by watching a dance party on Main Street.

By Popular Demand . . .

OK since everyone is so interested and you all want to join in Jill's fun by giggling about my new hair color, I thought I would share these pictures.

San Diego Country Estates Resort

Jill and I thought that we would send you a few pictures from our time share here in San Diego. It is very nice here. The resort is located about an hour east of San Diego in the mountains. The closest town is Ramona, California. The suite is very large with two large bedrooms, a living room and dining area with a small kitchenette. All the luxuries of home. There is even a barbeque out on the deck.

More Than I Bargained For ...

Jill said she wanted to dye my hair ...
So we went to Walmart to get some "Just for Men" hail color.
She said that light brown wasn't dark enough so we went with light medium brown.
Well, I applied the dye to my head and now .....

I have SUPERMAN HAIR!!!!!

UP, UP and away!

At least she tells me she likes it ... then she goes in the other room and giggles to herself.

A Day at the Beach

Monday we had a few hours before we could check into the resort so we headed to the beach for a couple hours. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the beach.

A Day at Sea

Today was the first of two days at sea on our way back from Mexico to San Diego. It was a restful day where we just lounged around in our room and walked around the ship. It was quite windy outside today. Each night while we are at dinner the steward cleans our room and does a turn down service on the bed. Tonight we walked in and found this little visitor hanging from the ceiling. Pretty creative don't you think!

Manzanillo

We arrived in Manzanillo early at 7:00 AM this morning. We grabbed breakfast before departing from the ship and boarding our open air bus to travel to the ranch where we would begin our ATV ride through the jungle and on the beach. The port here is quite different from the other two ports. This port seems to be in the midst of an industrial area. We traveled about 45 minutes before arriving at our destination. Once there we were equipted with a bandana, helmet and goggles. I came to appreciate that bandana which made it possible to breathe when driving through all the dust. We traveled along a coutry road and then down trough the jungle. After a slow winding ride through the jungle we came to a beautiful beach. here we were able to open up and get a little speed. We were taken to a sand dune and all had an opportunity to go up and down the hills. It was a lot of fun. This is the activity that Jill said she enjoyed the most. We returned to the ship and rested and ate of course. The ship leaves at 5:30 PM and we will be on our two day journey back to San Diego. We are really having a great time.
