Our Vacation Begins!
We are enjoying our cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We arrived in San Diego on Saturday and progressed pretty painlessly through all the security, etc to check in to the large, beautiful, Carnival Spirit cruise ship. We left port at about 4:30 and will be cruising on the ocean for two days. We arrive in Acapulco on Tuesday where we plan on touring the bay by sailboat. The ship is beautiful and we really like our state room with a comfortable bead and a balcony that overlooks the ocean to the east. The food is great! Too great!

"As you and I walk the pathway Jesus walked, let us listen for the sound of sandaled feet. Let us reach out for the Carpenter’s hand. Then we shall come to know Him. He may come to us as one unknown, without a name, as by the lakeside He came to those men who knew Him not. He speaks to us the same words, “Follow thou me,” and sets us to the task which He has to fulfill for our time. He commands, and to those who obey Him, whether they be wise or simple, He will reveal Himself in the toils, the conflicts, the sufferings that they shall pass through in His fellowship; and they shall learn in their own experience who He is."

Happy Birthday to My Angel!

On this special day I want you all to know how very blessed I am that an angel came into my life. Jill, I wish you a very happy birthday. Thank you for the joy and happiness you have given me. I so grateful to have you as my eternal companion. I love you with all my heart (always have, always will!).

Better and faster! :)
Hailey gets excited when some cooking or baking is going on
in the kitchen. She loves to help whenever she can. She even
helps clean up after we're done. This sheet cake of chocolate
chip cookies turned out really good because after they were
cooled off we put chocolate frosting over them. We didn't get
the finished picture of them frosted. They were gone in no time.
