This weekend was extremely scary as we were haunted by these funny looking characters. The lightning was crackling, the wind was blowing and the rain poured down. We thought that we were safe and sound inside our house but look what we found!

Happy Birthday Jennifer. We hope you have a nice day even if you have to work. But we will see you tonight so we can all celebrate your special day with you. We love you so very much and are happy you're our daughter.

Blauer Reunion......September 20th!

To all the descendant's of Patricia and Wallace Blauer. Reserve Saturday September 20th for the Big (as in family), Fun (as in fun things to do), lots of Love (to know your family is to love them), cool (cause that's what we all are), Blauer Family Reunion. Invitations will be sent out before long. So, watch for more information and reserve your spot.
We will plan well in advance next year for those who are out of State and can't attend on short notice, you will be missed!!!

Chowder and a treasure next door

We went out on one of our long walk of site seeing and enjoying the breeze from the ocean. We decided to stop and share of bowl of chowder. Yummy! We found this little shop called Donna's Closet. Nena you would have liked seeing everything here in this cute little shop. I was surprised to see all the old fancy and unique jewelry and purses. This purse and mirror caught my eye. I had fun looking around but the prices were very high. This purse was 300 dollars, wow!

Portmouth, New Hampshire

We are visiting New Hampshire and Maine this week. Robert was invited by a vendor he works with to participate in a business summit at the Sheraton Hotel in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The company is called "Greenpages" and is located just across the river in Kittery, Maine. We have been here before and really enjoyed ourselves and so we took advantage of the opportunity to return again.

Last night we walked from the Hotel and crossed the draw bridge you see below and had a nice lobster dinner at Warren's Lobster House in Kittery, Maine. Today we wandered through the shops along the streets, had a comfortable light lunch and then took a cruise through the harbor out to the Atlantic Ocean and back. Here are some pictures.
